1963 Gibson Firebird V – Sunburst
one of 62!

Art.Nr. Vi63GiFirebirdVSB146497

This is a rare Bird! We’re thrilled to offer this all original 1963 Gibson Firebird V in excellent condition. One of only 62 pieces Gibson made in 1963. The Firebird V was the equivalent to the SG Standard  of that time – the classic and most desired 2-pickup configuration with bound rosewood fretboard and thentrapezoid inlays. This guitar shows barely any wear besides some belt buckle rush on the lower back. If you ever find one of these very early first year examples, they usually have repaired or broken headstocks due to the big and heavy tuners. This one is in amazing condition and has no breaks or issues at all. It’s lightweight with only 3,97kg, the two mini-humbuckers have great matched outputs of N 5,97 and B 6,52k, the solder joints are untouched and the pots read 137.63.43 (43th week of 1963). Comes including it’s original Firebird case with yellow plush.
