1963 Gibson ES-335 TD – Sunburst

1963 Gibson ES-335 in classic Sunburst finish. This guitar is the best sounding ES-335 we’ve had in a while… it sounds and plays really exceptionally good. The guitar once had Grovers installed (the holes only have been drilled half way on the back) and the original tuners are back on. The tailpiece and studs are new Pigtail replacements. The guitar had a Bigsby installed but it’s a factory stoptail version (there is no ground wire hole for the Bigsby). The two original patent sticker humbuckers (which are actually PAFs with other stickers) read 8,16K(B) and 7,43K(N), the pots are dated 304.61.48 (48th week of 1961) and 304.62.02 (2nd week of 1962) and the weight is 3,57Kg. The neck shape is rather a bit on the thinner side but definitely not as thin as some of the 60/61 necks and feels really nice. Killer guitar with great look and feel and amazing tone! Comes incl. original case.
