1962 Gretsch 6122 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman – Mahogany

1962 Gretsch Country Gentleman in almost excellent condition for its age. The ´62 models are known as the “George Harrison – model” as George used this model in the Beatles. The instrument is all original, the binding, which often needs to be replaced is in perfect shape, only the bridge has been changed to a ABR-1 for better intonation, the original bridge is in the case. The original frets are still in great shape, the med.- to thick sized neck is very comfortable to play, everything works fine and the two original Gretsch Filtertron PUs sound just great! The guitar comes with its original Gretsch two-tone grey hardshellcase with maroon velvet lining.
