1962 Gibson Les Paul SG Standard
Cherry

Art.Nr. 62GISGSTD60186

The shape of an early ’60s Les Paul/SG is simply perfect. The deeply carved body contours, the way those curves interact with light — all of that was gradually lost over the course of the SG’s history. This original design is just wonderful – this particular guitar is a late 1962 model. The pickups have no stickers it’s from the transition period between the “Patent Applied For” and “Patent Number” stickers. The pickups themselves are the same as the 1961/1962 PAFs – the only difference is the stickers. The covers had been off at some point — we’ve re-soldered them and inspected the pickups: They are the correct purple wire, square hole, double black lead 1962 humbuckers. The guitar still comes with the Sideways Vibrola, ABR-1 bridge, and is completely original. Still a lot of red hue – not as faded as many others which makes it even more beautiful. Comes incl. its original case.
