1962 Gibson SG Special (Les Paul) – Cream

This is a super cool and rare guitar – although it shares the specs with a 1959 Les Paul Special this is an SG! Even after the new shaped SG Special was introduced in 1961 there was still some overlapping and some of the former Les Paul Special body shapes have been shipped until 1962. With the 59 pots and bumble bees this may be a leftover that shipped later. In the early 60s the color became “Cream” instead of “TV Yellow”. It’s an all original guitar with the typical slim taper neck profile and its in excellent condition. Comes incl. original brown Lifton case!
