What a great sounding piece! Clean 1962 Les Paul SG Standard in excellent condition and all original – except for a missing poker chip. It has all you’d expect from an early SG, big tone, great light (3,22Kg) resonant wood… this wonderful example has two original PAF humbuckers that read 7,78K(B) and 7,65K(N) they never had their covers off. The 4 pots are dated 134.61.40 (40th week of 1961) and all solder joints are untouched. It comes with the period correct “sideways” vibrato. The top has faded a bit like most of them did, the back still shows a lot of red. It has some minor wear and some nice weather checking. Great investment but also a true proof of what made the gold era of Gibson what it is! Comes incl. original case.
