1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Sunburst

Beautiful 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Sunburst finish. This is a perfect example of a 1960 Burst: nicely flamed maple top with the fade-resistant later color formula but not as bright and “clowny” as some models are, a very very nice and deep cherry sunburst color. Typical later 1960 thin neck profile and the double ring tuners – the serial number of this guitar is only 8 digits from Joe Bonamassa’s famous “Runt” Les Paul and close to Tom Wittrock’s “Curly”. It is lightweight with 3870g and well documented with a great back story in Europe since the late 70s.
