1960 Fender Princeton “Big Cab” Tweed Amp

1960 Fender Princeton tube-amplifier in rare "big cabinet". Almost identical to the Fender Tweed Champ, except for an aditional tone-control and a bigger speaker. The amp is in very good condition for its age and mostly original, a few caps and resistors have been changed for service reasons, the original Oxford speaker sounds great, even when cranked loud, the leather handle is also still original. The output transformer is original, the power-transformer has been changed to a EU 230V transformer. The original tweed covering has some minor wear and has faded into a nice "tobacco"-color, which gives that amp a great mojo!
