1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard Factory Bigsby – Sunburst

We are amazed to present you an incredibly clean 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard with rare factory Bigsby! We sold a lot of Bursts throughout the last decades and we must admit that this one is really an exceptional example. Strong Cherry Sunburst finish – barely any fading especially on the back – almost like it left the factory in spring 1959. The top shows some nice tight flames from a few angles. The guitar is all original (besides a new poker chip), nothing has ever been touched. It has a set of two unopened Zebra (!) PAF humbuckers with strong output. Untouched solder joints – it’s the perfect Bigsby Burst! This guitar with the serial number 90890 is just one digit lower than the famous “Redeye” (90891). It spent the last decade in Germany in the possession of Scorpions’ guitarist Matthias Jabs who purchased it from GuitarPoint a decade ago and now it is back on the market. Matthias used it mostly in the studio and recorded the last two Scorpions records with this guitar. There are two pictures of the original owner from the early 1960s… the whole package!
