1959 Gibson EB-2 Bass - Sunburst / incl. hardshell case
1959 Gibson EB-2 Bass - Sunburst incl. black hardshell case
Rare 1959 Gibson EB-2 Bass in Sunburst. 1959 was the second year of production for this semi-hollowbody 335-style bass and they only made 263 EB-2 basses this year. The instrument is in excellent condition and all original. Only little playwear and some weatherchecking, typical for an 57 year old instrument. The original humbucker has the black bakelite cover and on the headstock are the original Banjo-style tuners. Lightweight and well balanced, the neck has a big C-profile but is still comfortable to play, great sound! We got this bass in a gigbag, but we found a clean 60s EB-2 case for this bass which will be included.
