1959 Fender Stratocaster – Blond (Refin)

What a great sounding axe! This 1959 Stratocaster started it’s life as an original ash body Strat with maple neck and factory Blond finish. One of the last maple neck Strats before they switched to rosewood. The original finish still remains in the pickup cavities and the neck date is clearly visible: 1-59. The neck is dated 4-59 and has the same profile as the early rosewood board Strats – ab nit flater on the lower end and growing towards the body. The guitar has completely been refinished when we purchased it to some kind of satin walnut color (our luthier refinished the body back to the original Blond color, the neck was already refinished some time ago – note the later replacement logo). There are some original parts, tremolo plate and saddles, backplate with serial number, the pickups are original but have been rewound by our friends at Kloppmann in Germany. The guitar sounds so good… it’s got a super fast attack, fat bass but still clear, it’s really alive and makes you play longer than you want. The perfect tool for every Strat guy. In original condition this guitar would be over 60K nowadays…which make this one a once in a lifetime chance! Comes in original painted case.
