Incredibly clean 1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard Sunburst – the holy grail of vintage guitars. This Burst has been in Europe since over 35 years and remained unplayed in collections since then. The guitar is in all original condition except it seems the pickup covers have been off a long time ago. The original jackplate has been repaired but other than that nothing has been done. It’s basically unplayed, there are one or two frets that show minor signs of wear but all other little dings and dongs are from handling the guitar – the is no belt buckle wear or worn off finish at all. The it shows some light figuring and finish has faded to a beautiful light “Ice Tea” hue. Very hard to find one that clean especially with a history in Europe!
