What a cool guitar… this 1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard is one of the last guitars Gibson finished in Gold before they switched to Sunburst – basically a Burst in Gold. It obviously has seen a lot and has some beautiful wear and weather checking which really adds a great Mojo. The two original PAF pickups are well balanced and measure 7,55K(B) and 6,88K(N) and all 4 Centralab pots are dated 134.7.38 (38th week of 1957). Another great example of the golden era of guitar making – a true treasure! Comes with original brown Gibson case.
