1958 Fender Stratocaster – 3-tone Sunburst

Very nice 1958 Stratocaster in very good condition for its age and all original. This instrument has been played and shows lots of playwear, weatherchecking and mojo. 1958 was the “transition year” when Fender sold it´s last mapleneck Strats, allready with the new 3-tone Sunburst finish. Everything is original, except the guitar has had other tuners at one point, but the original Kluson “Singleline” tuners are back on and the former holes have been professionaly filled. The 3 “black-bottom” pickups have output-readings of 5,75 / 5,44 / 6,26 K-Ohm, the neck is pencilmarked = 1/58 all 3 pots are the original “Stackpoles” stamped 304.7.15,  typical weatherchecking, professional refret-job. The comfortable med-sized neck has a slight “V”-shape and plays very comfortable. This is not the cleanest, but for shure the bestsounding maple-board Strat we ever had! Incl. orig. Fender brown tolex case.
