1957 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst

Clean 1957 Fender Stratocaster in great condition. Those 50s Strats are becoming rare finds nowadays – no wonder, the mid 56 – mid 58 V-shaped neck are simply amazing. For many these guitars are the quintessential Stratocasters. This 1957 Strat is all original besides a changed volume knob and additional (filled) holes for a strap button and the backplate screws (hidden by the backplate). It has been played so it’s got some honest play wear. The wonderful V-neck even shows some birdseye figuring and has still the original frets. The three “black bottom” single coil pickups read 5.80K(N), 5,78K(M) and 5,76K(B), the neck is dated 10-57 and the body is dated 9-57 in the middle pickup cavity. Great sounding example of a 1957 Stratocaster with that deep contoured body, classic neck profile and typical 50s weight of 3,37kg! Comes in original Tweed case, a little later one from 58/59 with the yellow interior.
