1957 Fender Stratocaster – 2-tone Sunburst / gold hardware

Clean 1957 Fender Stratocaster in 2-tone Sunburst, all original and in excellent condition for its age. Lightweight alder-body in 2-tone sunburst finish, only minor playwear, typical for a 60+ year old guitar and mostly on the backside of the body and the gold-plating of the hardware has varnished over the years. The frets have been professionally renewed, which definately improved playabilty. 1957 Stratocaster models are some of the most popular and desirable Strats from the 50s, because of their great "V"-shape neck and the most contoured body-shapes. The neck-date on this guitar are penciled "8/57", the electronic is all original, all 3x Stackpole pots are stamped 304.7.23 (23rd week of 1957), original CRL 3-way switch works fine, same with the original Kluson "Single-line" tuners which have never been changed and still work fine. The 3 original Fender "black-bottom" pickups have well balanced outputs of: N=5,60K, M=5,55K and B=5,72K, nice lightweight with only 3,49 Kg and a great sounding Instrument!  Comes in its original Fender tweed case with red plush lining and two pictures showing the original owner with this instrument.
