1956 Gretsch 6129 Silver Jet – Silver Sparkle

Beautiful 1956 Gretsch 6129 Silver Jet in great condition with a super nice look! The guitar is one of the guitars that had a warranty neck replacement at the Gretsch factory in 1959 – this is why it has the late 50s inlays and the zero fret. A part of the neck binding is newer (the original binding is very brittle so this is also common on these guitars) and there is a small touch up over this era. The original Melita bridge is unfortunately broken – there is a replacement bridge installed. The neck has a wonderful shape and plays really nice, it’s been refretted. It ha a nice weight with 3,31Kg. The original pickups measure 8,71K(N) and 6,15K(B). Comes incl. original tweed Gretsch case.
