1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Goldtop

This a nice one! Clean late 1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop. The guitar is super clean besides the typical greening on the top. The back, the neck…everything is nice and clean. The neck feels sooo nice. There is even flame under the Gold finish! This is a two owner guitar! It’s been purchased from the original owner in the late 80s and includes all the goodies a collector could dream of: original strap, hangtag, case key, tune-o-matic manual and the original sales receipt dating December of 1956 – how cool is that? The guitar had a Bigsby installed leaving the “snakebite” marks on top and 3 holes on the bottom – all holes have been professionally filled by our luthier. The original (hard to find!) 1950s Bigsby comes with the guitar. The stoptail and studs are repros. Otherwise it’s fully original with original frets and untouched solder joints. Comes incl. in matching condition Gibson Cali Girl case.
