1956 Fender Precision Bass - Sunburst

That's one amazing bass right here! All original 1956 P-Bass, a true road worn example with lot's of honest wear from decades of playing. The neck feels just perfect broken in and the bass is as resonant as it looks. It's been played with flatwounds a lot so the frets and the fingerboard haven't been hurt that much. The bass is great lightweight with 3790g and has strong output. The neck is dated XA-7-56 and the body is dated 6-56 in the pickup cavity. This is the second version of the Precision Bass that was introduced in 1954 to match the carved body from the Strat and which lasted only til 1957 to be replaced by the 3rd incarnation which we know now as the typical Precision Bass. Comes incl. new Fender reissue case and both original pickup covers.
