1955 Gretsch 6128 Duo Jet Black

1955 Gretsch 6128 Duo Jet incl. orig. Gretsch tweed case

Clean and all original 1955 Gretsch 6128 Duo Jet - Black in very good condition. The instrument has only little play-wear, especially on the back and no weatherchecking. The binding is brittle but stable - typically for a 50s Gretsch. The original electronic is untouched with original solderjoints, the original DeArmond PUs have strong output (9.43 and 9.31K) and sound amazing in that guitar! The neck feels like heaven - it's big but not too big with shallow shoulders, typical early/mid 50s. This is one of those necks they just don't make anymore! Original tuners and no modifications, low action and great playability. It's also lightweight with only 3,39Kg.  Comes in original Gretsch tweed case!
