Super clean 1955 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop – one of the last ones with the wraparound tailpiece. Beautiful guitar, all original and in excellent+ condition, nothing has ever been changed. All parts are stock and the solders are untouched. There are a hand full of dings and dongs and some weather checking, just enough to give it a vintage appearance, but overall it’s exceptionally clean. It comes from a major collection and hasn’t seen daylight for many years. Nice lightweight with only 3820g. The clear coat of this beauty has not yellowed at all, the Gold finish is still bright and the back has the light walnut color it had in 1955 when it left the factory which is actually super rare – this is one of the lightest colored backs we’ve seen so far – simply stunning. The neck is not too big, just right. It’s an exceptional guitar in a condition that is rare to find! Comes incl. its original brown lifton case that looks just as gorgeous as the guitar!
