1955 Fender Precision Bass - Blond

Amazing 1955 P-Bass! This is a super nice transitional version of the early Precision Bass - already the contoured body but the early "butterscotch" blond finish and the black pickguard! There are a few modifications: the pots have been changed and one knob is a later one. The pickup has been rewound and there is a small routing/widened pickup cavity (please see pics). Otherwise it's in original condition and it looks just beautiful. The finish/contour/pickguard combination is simply perfect! Super lightweight with 3750g, wonderful big but yet comfortable neck profile. The bass has been featured in Fender Precision bass book by Detlef Schmidt. Comes with new case.
