Clean and all original 1954 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop in excellent condition. Great example of a “wraptail” Goldtop with corrected neck angle – for many players this third version (second would be 1953 thin ear tailpiece w/slightly adjusted neck angle) is the perfect Les Paul. The basic and straight wraparound bridge design delivers a big tone and endless sustain. The guitar has been played so there is some honest wear, especially on the back of the neck but the top is still clean and just right broken in. The guitar is crack free and had no repairs – there is a small scar in the wood on the back of the neck near the headstock we only mention since you expect this from us being as honest as we can – thats why you buy from GuitarPoint. Super nice Goldtop that sounds really outstanding – amongst the best examples of this species we’ve had – and we owned, sold and played a few dozens of 53-55 wraptail Goldtops! Comes incl. original flat (great condition!) Gibson Geib case.
