1954 Fender Telecaster – Blond

Clean 1954 Fender Telecaster in blond finish. The instrument is in excellent condition and has only some minor playwear and little checking on the finish on the body and play wear on the neck – which gives it a perfect feel. Super comfortable neck, one of those guitars you really don’t want to put down. The guitar is a later 1954 transitional model with typical features such as steel saddles and the serial number on the neck plate, still the desired “flatpole” bridge pickup as well as the transitional finish hue but still comes with an original black pickguard. The latest “Blackguards” in Nacho’s Blackguard Book are from that era, however, it may also be a later “upgrade” since it still has almost all the lacquer on the top and not much wear. It’s an original 1950s black Telecaster pickguard which would actually be an expensive upgrade! The neck is penciled T.G. 10 – 54. Besides some soldering on the tone pot everything is original. The guitar has been professionally refretted with wide Jumbo frets which has improved playability by 100%. Lightweight and wonderful resonant guitar! Comes in it’s original Fender center-pocket tweed case with red interior and bridge-cover.
