1953 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop

1953 Gibson Les Paul “Regular” Goldtop in excellent condition. This is one of the first Les Pauls with the famous Wraptail configuration – early 1953 serial number with the body routing still showing the channel for the ground wire towards the trapeze tailpiece. What an amazing guitar this is… super nice neck profile, great comfortable weight with only 3,8Kg and big fat P90 tone! The guitar has a newer switch tip and output jack. Our luthier replaced the old stud bushings with new Pigtail bushings which is a common and necessary service since the 1953-1955 bushings are too short and tend to lean towards the bridge pickup. The original bushings are included. Other than these minor changes it’s all original and very clean. No breaks or oversprays. The original Goldtop finish shows that typical weather checking and aging that we all desire. Comes incl. original brown Gibson case.
