1953 Fender Telecaster (Clive Brown Refin) – Blond

Super lightweight 1953 Fender Telecaster, refinished by one of the best guys for this job: Clive Brown from England. The guitar has been fully refinished and looks super authentic, amazing work, as we know it from Clive. Usually we don’t offer refinished Blackguards but we know the last 35 years background of this guitar. It has been owned by a good friend and local musician who imported from the San Francisco in 1990 when it was completely stripped. Another friend and customer bought it from hin a few years ago and sent it to Clive for a full refin (CB 3-20 stanmped in cavity). The guitar has period correct electronics, the neck pickups appears to be rewound. It has two 2 blue ink stamped Clarostat pots (dates not readable) which were used until end of 1953, period correct cap and modern wiring. All parts (pickguard and metal parts) are original vintage. The body date is still visible under the refin, the neck date was re-stamped. Great change to get a super resonant and featherweight (under 3Kg!) vintage Tele at a was lower price point than an all original example. Comes incl. Tosch „poodle“ case (best replica out there).
