1952 Gibson Les Paul Regular
Goldtop

Art.Nr. 52GILPGT

What a beauty! First year of the Les Paul – the second version of the first incarnation of the famous Goldtop. The first production run has no binding and a few unique features and this example came shortly after. All original guitar in excellent+ condition with barely any play wear. Still with the tall barrel knobs. The original owner engraved his social security number and initials on the back of the headstock though – a part of the guitars history. The clear coat has yellowed nicely and the finish has checked all over – just right to give it that vintage vibe we all love so much. The original trapeze tailpiece is in place, for a proper playability it can be converted to Mojoaxe without harming any part of the construction. The case is a later (more valuable) 5-latch Lifton case.
