1951 Gibson ES-5 - Natural ...clean + only 1 Owner !!!
1951 Gibson ES-5 - Natural inkl. tan hardshell case
Outstanding clean 1951 Gibson ES-5 in Natural finish, all original and in excellent++ good condition for its age (67 Years!). We bought this instrument from the daughter of the original owner, who purchased the instrument as first owner from a US-Military officier, who got that guitar directly from Chicago Musical Instruments to him in Germany. We have all the complete paperwork, from when sold new CMI in the US, the shipping- and customs paperwork and the bill-of-sale to the owner. The owner was a pro-musician working for a major network station in Germany and there are pictures of the original owner playing the guitar. The guitar has barely any visible play-wear, no belt-buckles rush and the frets are still in perfect shape. The beautiful maple body definately is one of the better flamed ones we´ve seen so far, the guitar had never had any changes or mods and everything works great, the sound and playability is superb! Comes in a tan hardshell case with blue plush interior, non Gibson, but period-correct, propably supplied to the guitar after its purchase in Germany
