1951 Fender Telecaster – Blond (Refin)

This is a cool one right here! 1951 fender Telecaster, refinished and aged by our friend, Señor Nacho Baños, famous Blackguard specialist and the author of The Blackguard Book and the Pinecaster book(s). The guitar was built from some “surviving” parts from 1951 – here is the info from the master himself: the original parts are: body and neck (both from 1951 – neck date is TG 12/4?/51. No visible body date but D stamp is there), Pickups (both rewound), please note early style Broadcaster pickup with notches and zinc plated base, neck plate, control plate, CRL switch, jack cup, bridge plate, saddles, 1 strap button. Vintage parts non original: old pots, 1966 double line Klusons. Wiring is post 67. Repro parts: 1 strap button, 2 saddle screws, pickguard, broadcaster knobs, string tree, decal, pickguard/control screws. Original finish on fretboard, original frets and nut. Back of neck and headstock show old worn out non original finish (looks like very old refin). Back of neck feels worn and great. Body finish has been restored. The guitar once had slightly larger pots so the control cavity had two small enlargements that I have repaired. The guitar sounds, looks, feels and plays fantastic. It comes with a repro case and USB stick with Nacho’s documentation (155 pictures).
