1984 Gibson Explorer 83 – Purple Burst
This Gibson Explorer is a real rocker, the same model with the triangle knob-layout and no pickguard James Hetfield from Metallica used to play. Secret to this amazing, heavy sound is the alder body and mapleneck they onlymade in 1983-89 in combination with two high-output “Dirty Finger” pickups. This guitar is all original and in near mint condition from first owner. The “Purple-burst” cutsom paint in nitro-finish has barely any playwear and no weatherchecking. Lightweight and very comfortable to play. Including brown Gibson hardshell case with pink lining.
