1980 Gibson Flying V - Silverburst

1980 Gibson Flying V in rare Silverburst finish great condition. The Flying V with solid mahagony body and stop-tailpiece was built between 1975 and 1981, they made a small limited run of them in Silverburst finish in 1979-81. This guitar shows some typical play-wear, the bridge is a newer ABR-1 and at some point it had different tuners - the perio correct Gibson Deluxe tuners are back on. Other than that the electronic is all original with 3 pots dated 137.75.36 (36th week of 1975) and two original Gibson "Pat.Nr. T-Top" humbucking pickups that sound amazing. The (small) letters "R+R LAMF" are scratched into the side of the body, who knows if Johnny Thunders was involved or the former owner played "like a MF" - it just adds cool to it. Comes in original case.
