1965 Fender Stratocaster 3-tone Sunburst

1965 Fender Stratocaster in 3-tone Sunburst with all the desirable Pre-CBS features such as the green guard and clay dots. Only the pot codes date it to 1965 - everything else is dated 1964 so basically it's a 99% pre-CBS 64 Strat. It's a higher output guitar with big tone - definitely in line with the top sounding Strats we had so far. This guitar is all original and in very good condition. It has been played so it has some wear and dings and dongs. There are some small cracks on the front of the headstock between the tuner holes - they have been checked by our luthier and are absolutely stable. There are repro-tuners installed but the originals come in the case. The guitar is all original with untouched electronics, the neck stamp is 2OCT64B, the pots are dated 137.65.05 (5th week of 1965) the "grey-bottom" pickups have outputs of 6,58K / 5,41K and 5,59K. It's lightweight with only 3,43Kg and the medium C-profile neck has a great broken-in feel. Comes with bridge cover and in it's original black Fender tolex case with yellow plush-lining.
