1959 Gibson Les Paul Custom – Ebony “Black Beauty” – three double-white PAFs!

1959 Les Paul Custom “Black Beauty” all original and in very good/excellent condition. The guitar has been played but was always well taken care off, some minor play-wear, the original frets are still in great ashape. There has been a Tremolo installed at some point but other than two small screw holes near the strap pin there are no visible hints. All parts are original to the guitar, the electronic is untouched with its factory wiring, All 4 pots date to 1958 (134.8.08), the three original double-white PAF pickups with “Patent Applied For” decal on their baseplate never had their covers off but you can clearly see the white bobbins. The PAFs read  7,94K / 8,14K and 7,39K (B/M/N). With 4,29kg it is considerable ligtweight for a LP Custom, the 1-piece mahagony-neck has that desirable 1959 profile – just amazing. One of the best sounding Les Pauls we ever had, plays and sounds like a dream. Magic year and for sure a great collector’s item! Comes in its original black Gibson hardshell-case with yellow lining.
