1968 Fender Jaguar - Sonic Blue w/ matching headstock
Stunning 1968 Fender Jaguar in super rare custom color Sonic Blue with matching headstock in excellent+/near mint condition. The guitar was pictures in the famous Fender book "The Golden Age 1946-1970" and when you see it in person it's no wonder why it made it to the book. The Sonic Blue finish is not faded at all, it's still like it left the factory in early 1968. There is a typical discoloration of the protective "guitar cover" around the edges of the guitar but otherwise you barely see any marks or wear. The chrome is still super shiny and almost looks like brand new. Although it barely has been used it sounds really resonant, great Jaguar tone! The neck is dated 15OCT67 and the pots are obviously dated to 1966 but it has a 68 serial number and the typical number stamps on the body clearly make it a 1968 model. This is a rare opportunity to get a true Sonic Blue Fender guitar which is a great future investment and collector's item! Comes incl. bridge cover and original case (including original key!).
