Based on an original 1965 Stratocaster we sold a few years ago – David Brown Masterbuilt 1965 Stratocaster Heavy Relic in Black finish. The original has a January 65 neck, still with the “clay” dot inlays and of course still with the small headstock and already the transitional Fender logo. Black finish with White undercoat and yellow stain. The neck was built to our custom dimensions to match the original guitars neck, the pickups are handwound 65s – spot on. Really great sounding guitar!
