A 63 Strat symbolizes the pinnacle of the pre-CBS era for many players. Many of the vintage originals had bigger neck profiles and it was the last year before the transition to later features started. A good model to start with as a Custom Shop guitar. But we wanted to take it a step further and gave it that amazing “Super Faded Aged Sea Foam Green Sparkle Heavy Relic” finish – that transferred this model to a badass rock’n’roll machine. Of course it won’t be what it should without a nice triple of Josefina Handwound Bone Tone pickups! The neck is a AA-flamed maple neck and of course a “Large-C” profile. The rosewood fretboard has a 9.5″ radius and 6105 frets for modern playability.
