Here it is…the second run of guitars we ordered from our good friend Nacho Baños. Built to our very own specs. We had many Black- and White Guard Telecasters over the last decades and always admired Nacho’s work – he probably is the world most respected expert for those magical 50s Fender guitars, well known for his books “The Blackguard Book” and the recent “The Pinecaster Book”.
With an amazing attention to detail he also creates his own versions, replicas of the original design with and tone and feel that you can’t get in modern mass production. We’re glad to have our own little run of guitars we spec’d together with Nacho – the essence of the Whiteguard myth at a way more affordable price but with a lot of the mojo of the originals!
This one has not been spec’d by us. We left this open for the Maestro himself. Nachos favorite Whiteguard, still with the blond finish – kind of a 56 style version.

Early 50s Standard style bridge with compensated brass saddles:

Pickups: 1956 pickups. Neck pickup reads 7,37k ohms. Bridge pickup reads 7,81k ohms.

Electronic configuration includes the powerful humbucking mode in the middle position: neck pickup + both pickups in series + bridge pickups all with tone control
