If you ever wondered why Dale Wilson are so sought after… guitars like this. We got it as a trade in and immediately decided to order similar guitars from Dale…well they might be delivered in 2027. It’s a very authentic looking and super nicely aged – not too much, just right! The “Smoked Butterscotch Blond” finish was ordered with ultra thin lacquer and heavy checking. The big Nocaster “U” neck has extra rolled fingerboard edges for great authentic broke in feel.The coolest thing: In the case there is a special candy for you. The guitar comes with a complete “Esquire to Telecaster conversion kit” which means there is an additional Josefina handwound neck pickup, two extra Telecaster pickguards with cut-out for the neck pickup (black and white) and a complete pre-wired and aged Custom Shop control panel in the case – straight from the factory and mentioned on the spec sheet. You can easily convert it into a Blackguard or Whiteguard Telecaster without changing the wiring! Please note that all Esquire models have the neck pickup cavity route from the factory anyway so you just have to do some solder work and you’re done in 20 minutes.
