2014 Gibson Les Paul Collector’s Choice #16 Ed King “Redeye” Aged – limited to 300 pieces. This is a replica of the late Ed King’s 1959 Les Paul Standard nicknamed “Redeye” because of the unfaded red spot on the top. It’s a beautiful Les paul, already sought after by collector’s and players known for it’s great tone and feel! A BurstBucker 3 made with an Alnico magnet—a relatively hot PAF for its day – is the perfect match for the neck pickup in Ed’s guitar, while a Custom Bucker with Alnico III magnet has been wound to match the bridge pickup. It’s got a weight of only 3,95kg and sounds absolutely wonderful! Comes including original case, COA and case candy.
