Back in 2008 the ES-line was entirely made at the Gibson Memphis factory. Only a small number of these guitars were made at the Custom Shop in Nashville along with the Les Paul Historic line. These guitars often were superior in quality and based on the 1959 and 1963 model years. This is the 1959 version with big fat neck, long neck tenon and sweet Cherry finish. This particular guitar was used for many years by a professional Jazz musician and shows some minor wear – it has been taken care of. Really nice guitar with plain maple – great sounding instrument! Comes including original case and COA.
