1992 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus - Sunburst

Beautiful 1992 Les Paul Classic Plus in Cherry Sunburst. The early 90s were a confusing period at Gibson (actually also the decades before and after as well...) since the Historic Collection and the Custom Shop have not been established yet and a few different models were released next to each other and shared almost identical specs - just like the Les Paul Classic, Classic Plus and the 59 and even 60 Reissue or "Standard Flametop". The only difference were cosmetically, open coil pickups vs. covers or different neck shapes. The Classic Plus is technically identical to the so-called "pre-historics". This one might have added covers and doesn't have a 1960 logo on the pickguard but other than that everything is original. It#s a super nice looking and playing guitar, stunning maple top and color! We got the serial checked by our friends at Gibson and it's confirmed it's a Classic Plus shipped in October 1992. Comes in original brown Gibson case.
