Shortly after Slash’s original No.1 Les Paul this 1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard was born – these guitars symbolize the comeback of the Les Paul in general. Still the three-piece maple top, strong Cherry Sunburst finish, pronounced carving. Really nice example in excellent condition. The bridge pickup has been replaced with a 57 Classic humbucker and the neck pickup is still the Bill Lawrence “The Original” humbucker. Both pickups are well balanced. Comes incl. original 80s Gibson case.
