Super rare White 1982 Gibson 335-S in player’s condition. The 335-S was a short-lived run from the early 80s, there was a Deluxe, Custom and Standard model. This is a “Custom Shop Edition” version in factory White finish – we’ve never seen another one. As a Custom model the guitar has a mahogany body and neck with rosewood fingerboard – by far the best sounding version – and it has uber-cool factory Gibson tuners with pearl buttons. It features a set of 1981 dated humbuckers, both can be split with a switch. The terrible sounding factory bridge was replaced with a custom set of Schwarz St. Helens Black hardware Kit (400€) which was a major increase in tone (original bridge comes with the guitar). The guitar has an old headstock repair and a small crack around the lower strap bottom. The guitar has been refretted with 6100 wire. Relocated strap pit on upper horn. Otherwise its original. Great guitar in custom color finish for 50% of the price of a clean one! Ships in softcase.
