This thing is a beast! Rare 1980 Dean E´lite in Yellow finish – all original and in excellent condition. This model is often refered to as the “Cadillac”, but the Cadillac back then always had 3 PUs. Dean built his own “E´lite” – model which was a cross of the famous Les Paul with the upper horn of an Explorer. With a solid mahogany body, set neck (long neck tenon!) and a set of DiMarzio Super Distortions it’s the perfect guitar to celebrate 80s metal! It’s got that typical V-neck those early Deans are famous for. It still has the bigger headstock, as they became drastically smaller in around 82. The guitar is in excellent+ condition with only some minor play-wear. Sounds big and fat but still with a nice clarity. Comes incl. original case.
