1974 Gibson SG Special/Standard Conversion

1974 Gibson SG – started its life as Special with the black mini-humbuckers and was upgraded to a Standard by some former owner. Both guitars share some mutual specs, both had the smaller block inlays in this period. One-ply pickguard and missing crown inlay tells the story. The pickups are an older Duncan SH-1 and a 57 Classic in the neck position. Original bridge and tailpiece and one original pot that dates to 1974. The other pots are newer Gibsons and the caps are Orange Drops. Comes incl. original mid/late 70s case. Nice sounding guitar – beats most new ones you can buy for a lot more money!
