Rare 1972 Gibson ES-340TD in Natural finish in very good+ condition. The instrument has been played, so it has some playwear, especially on the back of the neck. The ES-340 guitars were more expensive but very similar to ES-335 but they had a laminated maple neck (like Gibsons expensive Jazz guitars L5 etc.) and a different wiring, which allowed out-of phase sounds. 1x master volume, 2x tone controls and 1x mixer control. The pots and caps are original, the 2 original Pat.Nr-decal Humbuckers read 7.55K and 7.49K and the tuners had been changed to Grovers at one time, the original Kluson "doublerings" are back on (no aditional holes!). Great sounding instrument with a great vintage blond look. Includes brown Gibson-335 hardshell case.
