1970 Gibson ES-345 TDSV
Cherry
Art.Nr. GI70ES345CH-899700
Ok so when you read this you obviously interested in a nice ES guitar. Keep on reading because this is a really outstanding example! Its an early 1970 model, really early since there is no “Made in USA” stamp on the back of the headstock and the volute is still tiny. The neck… is big. Probably even bigger, some may say huge. The finish is almost worn off which gives it that certain grip and feel we all love when it comes to vintage guitars. Its been done by some ones left hand while playing – it feels just right! It has been converted tio Grover, old USA ones and we decided it looks right and works right too. The switch tip is black, otherwise its all original. Typical for ES guitars there is no belt buckle rush on the back, they call it “church guitars” – they have been played a lot but with suites and no belts – no rock’n’roll guys (yet!)! We need to mention that the frets are worn out and we’ll have our luthier refret it. If you’re quxcik you can choose the wire – otherwise it will be Jescar 51100. It still has the Varitone and is wired stereo – rare to find. It sounds really nice too, as you can imagine! There is a tiny crack beneath the high e string tuner – likely from installing the Grovers but thats just cosmetics. Comes incl. original case with purple plush.
