Early 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty in Ebony finish. All desired 68 specs besides the missing i-dot. Clean guitar with the big neck – one piece mahogany body and neck with long tenon and beautiful deep top carve. Minor modifications: ABR 1 bridge posts slightly relocated, ABR Bridge saddles changed to brass (original nylon) for way better tone, one pickguard screw changed (you can tell we mention EVERYTHING at GuitarPoint!). The guitar has been refretted to make it playable – the original frets are not usable for the majority of players. Original waffle back tuners (never had others tuners!) and two original patent number sticker hum buckers with Philips baseplate screws. Super sought after guitar, the 68 and early 69 Les Paul Customs are way closer to the 50s than to the 70s. Good weight too with 4,3Kg. Coms incl. its original case with yellow plush.
