Extremely clean 1969 Fender Mustang in Competition Red finish. Rare 20 fret version with the slightly shorter scale and still a 1966 made neck – in 1966 Fender had a huge overstock and used a lot of 1966 parts all the way through the next years – one of the reasons why there are so few 1967 dated Strats. The shorter scale Mustang have been discontinued end of the 60s but some models were still available – just like this wonderful Mustang! Body and neck have the 3-digit 1969 production dates, the pickups are dated 1969 as well. Super clean guitar and all original! Comes incl. original case in the same condition!
