Rare lightweight 1968 Les Paul Standard Goldtop with the desired “Darkback”! The contrast of the Gold finish with the darker stained back makes it pop out even more. Hard to find them that light, a really special guitrar with great vintage mojo! It’s been played and had other tuners mounted (holes were not enlarged) original but later 1970-74 “Gibson Deluxe” Pat Number D-169400 installed now. Its been refretted. Interesting quirk: the 12th fret dot markers are closer together but there are no signs of anything else but factory work. Great sounding guitar with great round neck profile! Comes in its original black case with yellow plush.
